Who writes, audits, and signs the guides

Boutique Weddings Mexico is a Mexican editorial project. We are not a marketing agency or a marketplace. We are a small editorial desk that selects venues, planners, and photographers for couples who don't want to navigate endless listings paid by vendors.

We sign as Boutique Weddings Editorial Team because every guide passes through three pairs of eyes: one that researches, one that cross-checks against real data, and one that decides whether to publish. We don't attribute individual guides because responsibility is collective.

Every guide published at /guias follows the same four-step process:

1. Primary data. We cross-reference Google Places (rating, reviews, address, website, hours) with our internal catalog of audited vendors.
2. Fact-check. We verify prices, capacities, and seasons against real contracts, conversations with operators, and, when applicable, in-person or remote venue visits.
3. Editorial writing. We write with judgment, not superlatives. If a region has limitations, we mention them; if a venue doesn't fit a certain type of wedding, we say so.
4. Pre-publication review. No vendor sees the guide before it's published. We don't accept payment to appear or for how we appear.

Every guide carries an Updated date. If the date is more than six months old, the guide has been reviewed at least once — we revisit prices, ownership changes, closures, and replace mentions when vendors fall out of the directory.

The last full directory audit was on April 18, 2026. Our minimum commitment is two annual audits.

• We don't charge for ranking position.
• We don't take commission on bookings.
• We don't accept exchanges (trips, meals, products) for coverage.
• We don't generate content with LLMs without human oversight — AI supports research, it doesn't decide for us.
• We don't publish vendors we haven't contacted or whose operation we haven't corroborated by at least two sources.

If you spot incorrect information in a guide, a venue that closed, an outdated price, or any error, write to editorial@bodasboutique.com. We review every message and, when warranted, correct the guide within 48 hours, noting the change date.

Vendors who want to be considered for the directory can visit /for-vendors. Selection is discretionary and not guaranteed.
